Archaeologists have found goods from as far away as Egypt and India in the rubble of Sumerian cities.

Hey all you Sumer fans… Did you know…
The Sumerians used sun dials to break up the day??? They broke the day into 12 parts, each part was about 2 hours… how many hours were in their day????

Their economy was based on agriculture and trading!!!

    Happy Researching!!!!

hey people i found something cool i dont know if it will be cool to u but i think its cool so ha. I found that Rulers lived in magnificant palaces with spacious courtyards. Most people, though, lived in tiny houses packed in a tangled web of narrow alleys and lanes. Artisans who practiced the same trade, such as weavers or carpenters, lived and worked in the same street. These shop-lined streets formed a bazaar, the ancestor of today’s shopping mall. I hope that was cool to you but if u dont its fine cause i do well cya
    Ps: mrs. Morgan rocks!!!!!!
